Summer, Goats, Videos...Sign Me Up!
Yeah I know....my tour schedule has been really poor for the past month. The fact is that I’ve been trying to find a new place to live and working on a new promo video. So, to everyone who has been asking me “when are you coming back?” my reply is, “now!”
Yes, after a 4 week pit-stop to take care of some much needed business (not to mention a case of the stomach virus that you don’t want to hear about) I am back in the wagon and on the trail to Oregon...no more dysentery, no more broken wagon tongues, no more waiting on ferries to cross the river, and for heaven’s sake Earl, if you break your leg one more time we’re gonna feed you to the buffalo....(okay, that was dumb)
Oh, and speaking of animals, some of you are aware that my parents have fainting goats. That’s right, it’s a real breed of goats that “faint” when they are startled. It’s amazing how often I get in conversations on the road and come to the topic of pets, and it is always funny seeing people’s response when I tell them about our fainting goats. I’ve been meaning to video the whole experience for months, and finally, on Mother’s Day I rounded up my cousins and well, you’ll just have to see it for yourself. While we were filming the video, I got a good recording of “Sign Me Up,” which everyone seems to be asking for.
